Old Hollywood
This is my encaustic piece made from wax, paper, tissue, buttons, and lace. I went for a old hollywood theme because of my love for old things! I chose the tryptic style because I love how you can created pieces within the piece. I think it allows the viewer to separate my ideas better and for them to flow outward.

Tatoo Lady
No this is not ink on paper! This is my paper cut. Each one of those curlycues is hand cut from the white paper. I drew the design first on the paper and then cut it out. It is a very daunting, tedious and at times frustrating process but in the end you get something that is unique (and more so in person). It is originally of a classmate of mine, but may not look exactly like her now. I'm calling it the Tatoo Lady because she looks like she has extreme henna tatoos all over her body.
